Village Green has four hard-surface lighted tennis courts that are open year round to residents.  We provide opportunities for all ages to enjoy the courts whether for lessons, team play or tennis mixers and socials.

Two of the courts are located near the Clubhouse pool and the other two are near the Monticello pool.  All are open to Village Green residents only.

Schedule Info

The Men's tennis league starts up in the Spring and runs for three 10-week sessions ending in the Fall. They conclude the season with a tournament, complete with trophies and banquet. 

Play is scheduled with four players per court, three sets are to be played, each player plays one set with each player. If a set is tied at 5-5 then a tie breaker is played to determine the set winner. Scoring System - 6 points per set for each player, with a maximum of 18 points for all three sets. NOTE: A running record of scores is not maintained.  

There are usually four bye players each week and a sub-list provided to use to schedule substitute players. Tom Koepp  supplies a schedule (with phone numbers, etc.) to players prior to each session. Note: it is each players responsibility to arrange for subs.
